Legendary Chicago blues singer Tail Dragger has been performing with Frank Falduto on guitar for the last several years.
Originally from Altheimer, Arkansas, upon moving to Chicago he became a disciple of Howlin' Wolf who once remarked, "One day this boy will take my place." Tail Dragger became a mainstay of the West Side blues clubs and continues to perform there to this day, often with Frank Falduto on guitar. Tail Dragger says, "Lowdown blues is all I like... All I feel...and I sing what I feel, It's like I get into a trance when I sing the blues, I forget about everything else. Nothing else matters." He has three albums on Delmark Records and two performance DVD's.
Tail Dragger insists on a two-guitar lineup in his quintets where the stringbenders alternately weave leads and rhythm parts to Tail Dragger's muse.
