The BIRD'S-EYE LoW-DOWN ON FRANK FALDUTO!

Frank Falduto
has his Patio Daddi-O's with him for a trio or quartet experience. Sometimes he performs as a solo artist with just guitar and harmonica. And he can also often be seen and heard with Chicago bluesman Taildragger.

Born and raised in Kenosha, he is an eager traveler on Spaceship Earth.  More details to come. Maybe. But in the meantime, you can watch some live video made in Wisconsin..

Frank Falduto began playing guitar in earnest when his oldest son, Tyler, was born, some thirty years ago. With a Master's Degree in Creative Writing, Frank started off writing original tunes, always running parallel with his innate love of blues music.

He formed a fast friendship with Chicago brothers Joe and Nick Moss, (both excellent examples of modern day blues artists), which led to a band called "The Fabulous Moss Brothers." Frank created a record of his original tunes entitled "A Place For Me," with Joe Moss playing  lead guitar on all of the tracks

Frank met his wife bassist Heather Tackett, (Eddie Clearwtater, Super Chikan), and she soon joined his band, "Frank Falduto and his Patio Daddi-o's." They moved to Chicago, (their current home), and Frank performed for seven years with Delmark recording artist James "Taildragger" Jones, keeping his "Daddi-o's" working both in Chicago and Wisconsin, where they still frequently perfor

mFrank also performed several times with Elmore James Jr., son of the legendary slide guitarist and blues singer, whose name he shares. Frank and the Patio Daddio’s served several times as the backing band for Lurrie Bell- sometimes including bassist Marvin Smith..

Falduto did an eight-gig tour of Florida with Tail Dragger, and that led to a serious interest in fingerpicking for Frank.

In addition to their  occasional gigs in Florida, (Heather's home state), Frank is also busy completing the tracks for his new record project, (a selection of his latest original songs), with a strong assemblage of blues stalwarts working behind him. The Patio Daddio’s have a flexible lineup that sometimes includes drummer Merle Perkins, guitarists Mark Wydra, and Paul Kaye (the latter known for his tenure with Honeyboy Edwards).
